Mission Statement
The Portage Porpoise Swim Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote an interest in competitive swimming and to provide youngsters, of all ages and abilities, a place to participate in a safe and healthy environment. The Organization is designed to offer an opportunity to develop physical fitness and sportsmanship.
Vision Statement
To have each swimmer become familiar with all four competitive strokes, starts, and turns. To have each swimmer enjoy a positive competitive swimming experience, while having fun as part of a team effort. To encourage personal and team development while reinforcing life skills including self-discipline, good sportsmanship and time management.

Registration and Try-outs for the Fall/Winter 2010-2011 Season Where: Portage High School (Door "O") When: August 23 & 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and August 28 from 9:00 AM to Noon. Who can try out? Any student who can swim one length of the pool is welcome to try out for our team. What to Bring: All new swimmers must try out and should bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. Locker rooms will be open. NOTE: ALL SWIMMERS (new and returning) must bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration per a new rule by Indiana Swimming.
